One day I'm going to qualify in my mind how Laibel is different than producers from other, more exalted Riesling regions. For now, the best I can do is to say that the Klingelberger is to a dry wine from the Wonnegau as a great and classic Chablis is to a wine from Puligny or Chassagne. 2014 Andreas Laible Weisser Burgunder Kabinett Trocken. Very animated nose. Floral, apply/tart peach, clean stony minerals, talcum powder. Richly fruited in the mouth, super clean, with a pillow-like texture. Not as complex tasting as the nose, but a lot of character. Good acidity. Easy drinking but with benefits. — 9 years ago
