The wine of the evening is a; Anakena Ona Special Reserve Pinot Noir 2011, from Leyda Valley, Chile. This is a very good wine for the price point! Color-Deep red color with a slight crimson core Bouquet-This wine leaves your nose with a beautiful Bouquet of raspberry, and crushed cranberries. There are also some slight sweet wood aromas as well. Palate-Your palate is greeted by different fruit and cherry flavors, with some slight herb and spice on the back end. — 11 years ago
