A nice burgundy. Smooth and a bit smoky at the end — 11 years ago
Very sweet. Wonderful to drink, especially in a mimosa — 12 years ago
This is a wine nerd's wine. Smells of a dark blond roux. Floral yet mellow. Not huge on the fruit. Would never pay the money for it, but fun to sip on. — 12 years ago
At 10% alcohol--with I'm guessing 60+ g residuals--the last 9 years leave an impression that is both sweetly-floral and quenching. Not sweet enough to be sticky on the palette, this is akin to peach honeysuckle sherbet. If you're lucky to have one of these tucked away, enjoy it on a bluebird mountain day. — 10 years ago
Light touch of oak, Chenin, Chardonnay delicious when the sun is out! — 11 years ago
Bringing out the good stuff now that Bess can drink again. — 12 years ago

Could drink this every day. Great table wine.

Peppercorn, loamy earth and limestone meet plum on the nose. More black cherry than red, with a strong mid palate that transitions effortlessly to an elevated, almost floral (purple flowers) finish. Tannins are well integrated at this point. Enjoyed following 3 hr decant. — 11 years ago

Very sour, so give it a couple of tastes, and reap the rewards of the subtle apricot. Probably best not to look up what the name means till later. — 10 years ago
