Best Sangiovese in a long long time — 10 years ago
This was just a beautiful medium-bodied bottle of wine drinking in its perfect window. Couldn't ask for anything more. When I have wine like this, it makes me re-think all of the ratings I've given in the recent past. — 11 years ago
Really nice red wine — 8 years ago
Just amazing! Spices and plums. — 9 years ago
A sweet Red wine that has lower alcohol than others. This could be used as a dessert wine or I would happily drink it with a cheese platter. My only gripe is that with the medium dry finish, the flavour disappears from my palate too quickly. A real versatile wine that is not too sweet. Yum yum yum! — 9 years ago
Also wonderful, like the Amoroso. Lots of food pairing possibilities with this one! — 11 years ago

Great wine. Newer vintage not as good. — 13 years ago
Great Sangiovese! — 9 years ago
A very good Pinot from Castello di Amoroso. Very smooth and just a bit of tannings. — 9 years ago
Nutty and delicious. An amontillado with a sweet kick from the PX. Best of both worlds. — 9 years ago
2012. Anniversary wine. Betsy loves. — 10 years ago
Tried many sherrys in Jerez and surrounding areas in the last 5 days, and this is one of my favorites - tasted in the winery's main cellar/warehouse, where they also sell most of their wines to locals for a low price per liter in your own bottle! 4 Euros per liter for their Oloroso, for example! — 11 years ago
