Sweetish Bitters--do you know what a cardoon is? — 9 years ago
So complex and layered. A rich honeyed attack followed by aromatics and a clean fresh finish. Pine, spearmint, citrus, chicory, florals, earth. Really cool bitter that's original family recipe dates back to 1868. — 10 years ago
Smoth, great finish and needs to become more available in New York. — 10 years ago

Amazing stuff... a pour from a friendly bar-tender rocked my world. Hand carried back from Italy, this elixir was bottled in the 70’s. Amazing complexity, light tan, not much viscosity... but the aroma!!! And the finish!!! Dust, rhubarb, olive juice, raisins, and the elusive smell of my great-grandmother’s dusty dry doilies that we’re starched to an almost flatness on the arms and backs of her living-room chairs. Have to find a bottle!! — 6 years ago
Washington DC sourced but old school Italian spiritually. Hits a very enjoyable sweet spot between sweet accessibility & some of the more savory, funkier amaros out there. About 40$ pre sale — 7 years ago

One of my favorites. Very "piney" and reminds me of my visit to Northern Italy. Need to go back — 9 years ago
