Excellent. More on the fruit side for a Tempranillo, nice pepper. — 7 years ago
Earthy, silky, low acidity, wonderful — 8 years ago
Easy bottle to have at home with dinner. Keeps well if you can't finish in one sitting — 8 years ago
Strawberry gummy bears and gram cracker on the nose... Weird I know. The palate was mouth filling with lush firm tannins. Spicy with sautéed black cherry. Acidity was light and pleasant. — 9 years ago
This was terrific. Beautiful fruit, great finish. — 9 years ago
From Jumilla in southeast Spain,a big rich red combo of cabernet sauvigon, monastrell and tempranillo. Great depth with lashings of ripe Blackberry fruit, spicy notes and just a hint of toasty oak. — 10 years ago

A very average tasting, inexpensive Spanish Monastrell wine. — 7 years ago
Smoked eucalyptus and gamey.
Blackberry, dark plum, tha basil, eucalyptus. mint, anise, layer upon layers of gorgeous fruit, with herbs dancing with great pagan mystery, underneath those waves.
This is one of those wines that hits every bit of what you want a more expensive bottle to be.
Priced to buy by the case as a every nighter.

Secillamnet espectacular!!! Un negre de Navarra molt recomanable — 8 years ago
Dark but bright ruby red color together with very nice aromas of wild flowers, red berry fruits, and sweet herbs on the nose. Medium-to-full-bodied followed by delicious taste of fresh red cherry, mulberry, and cinnamon on the palate. Bright acidity, dry, silky but light tannins, and long minty finish. Delicious but a bit expensive. — 8 years ago
First time trying a Bonarda. I enjoyed this wine. Leathery on the nose which sticks around until it opens up, then there's some nice herb and wet leaves, dark plum and black cherry. High acid on the palate up front with a medium plus body. Smooth finish, mellow tannins. Easy drinking overall but a bit big for my own taste. I prefer with food. Will drink again — 9 years ago
Light red, great with mild cheese and snacks. Drank in Denver with Lo. — 10 years ago
One of my favorite grapes in a surprisingly versatile wine: strong aroma, but mellowed with aeration and breathing. Paired well with crackers and cheese, an asparagus risotto, and even a vanilla frozen custard with fresh berries. Three courses of yummy! (2011 vintage on July 24, 2015) — 10 years ago
