Nice chardonnay, cheaper than Rombauer — but slightly lower quality as well (a hint of ammonia?). A delightful winery to visit in person. — 4 years ago
V. Sattui wine club. Our preferred V Sattui pinot - fruity and lush while not being too heavy. — 5 years ago
It smells like honey and apricot, with a tartness that is understated.
The taste is fruity and juicy on the palate. The acidity is moderate and the impression of sweetness is strong. — 5 years ago
“Raspberry and plum” according to the description. Loved every drop, went well with a good book (in this case, “Everything is F*cked”) — 6 years ago
Medium lemon color, aromas of stone and citrus fruits with floral and mineral notes. On the palate flavors of apple and pear with citrus wrapped in a smooth nutty spice texture. Medium+ finish, lively acidity, ending with fruit, spice and savory citrus character. Nice value! — 2 years ago
Rich and round, with pear, cream, citrus, and a touch of nut from the oak. Very tasty and stands up well to food. — 4 years ago

Very nice, not too bold with medium viscosity. Would be great alone or with food — 6 years ago

Smooth, not earthy, easy, very drinkable. A must get. — 4 years ago
August Sebastiani & brother-in-law, Kendrick Coakley, craft small-lot wines made with minimal intervention, so one can enjoy the truest representation of each appellation & how its terroir impacts specific varietals. Came across this rarity & grabbed a bottle. Aromas of ripe berry fruits & wafts of floral notes. On the palate raspberry & blueberry flavors, sweet cinnamon spice with an edge of tobacco tones. Smooth tannins, lingering ending with soft oaky notes. Great value! Nice! Small production. — 4 years ago

Nice Syrah! Violet with slightly orange edge. Very interesting nose, at first it has lots of mature red fruit, then it changed to a very meaty profile, also dried prunes, and violets. Medium acidity and low astringency but good permanency and nice aftertaste. De Martino is without a doubt one of my favorite Chilean producers. — 6 years ago
Winemaker Tony Coltrin was born in St. Helena and is a lifelong Napa Valley resident. Light straw with fresh crisp citrus and stone fruit aromas. The palate shows fruit, peach, apple and Asian pear, with lemony and toasty notes, lively acidity, wine spent 9 months sur lie in 33% new French oak. Medium finish ending with creamy citrus character. Delightful! Good value. — 7 years ago
