Great bottle of Cab for Pam's 28th bday. Alex Valley is always one of my faves. Lots of depth and great with some steaks. Well balanced - 08 vintage — 10 years ago
as pretty a pinot as the vineyard's namesake. Alex does it again. — 10 years ago
Bacara. Still on the list. Alex and Lindsey give a thumbs up. Touch of oxidation, but I'm feeling it's where it should be. Great texture. Minimalist honeyed. — 11 years ago
Still my favorite Viognier on the planet and definitely my benchmark white that I measure all others against. I love the PCV Viognier. I still have a complete vertical of every year Alex has made this. Someday! — 12 years ago
Holy mole! I have never really found an imperial stout that I loved until this little guy. It's sourish too and spicy and lighter bodied than I had expected. — 10 years ago
1976 showing very well — 10 years ago
Fat and round, great power — 10 years ago
Nice syrah-cab blend. Bell pepper, red fruit, violet(?), earthiness (forest floor/mushroom). Nice, full body with mild tannin and well balanced alcohol. — 12 years ago
Thank you Alex! — 12 years ago
2004. Well balanced with notes of straw and a caramel finish. A delight with Beth's grilled chicken w/ mango sauce and broccoli salad. — 10 years ago
Blended from the 6 sub regions, very different to rest of CO. Quite vibrant, quite ripe, 65% whole bunch but not too tannic, good balanced acidity. Good juicy red fruit, good elegance. — 10 years ago
1999 vintage, still needs time. — 10 years ago

Great rose from Alex Davis — 11 years ago
Delicious Burgundy! — 12 years ago
Popped & poured, slammin' right off the bat. This is their lowest end estate Pinot in a not-so-great vintage for the RRV. 5 years really did this wine well, wish I had more! Alex Davis knows what's up with PN. — 12 years ago

Having failed miserably at our 2015 new years resolution to drink up our aging cellar faster, we're glad we still have some of these around. Shy at first but then becoming fuller in the glass, this was an excellent hamburger wine tonight. With Alex in Oakland 12-17-2015.. — 9 years ago
