I do like Portuguese wine and this one is such a steal from Aldi at just £4.99. No wine that price is going to be world-class but it's still a great easy drinker for a Friday evening.

Made up of three grape varieties: Tinta Roriz, Touriga Nacional and Touriga Franca it gives a hint of spice and cherries on the nose. Taste is some tannin with a good plum and blackberry body. Left to breathe for a couple of hours it ended up being quite smooth. All in all a little diamond for under a fiver. — 7 years ago

Purchased at Aldi 1/19 and consumed 1/19. Not bad. Needed to breathe a little for me. The notes on the back of the bottle R; we owe her is the most prestigious wine region in Spain, famous for its excellent wines. This award winning dry red wine, aged in oak for 36 months, features aromas of fresh cherries and strawberries with hints of vanilla, tobacco, and licorice. Pair with grilled red meat, roasted lamb, beef stew, and hard cheeses. Best one served at room temperature. — 6 years ago
