Delicious after it opens up. I rec opening the bottle about 3 hours before then decanting. Really becomes expressive. Good acid! — 10 years ago
Mature and Delish. While watching Ducks football game. I regret I could not take it to Tim Shimmel's birthday party! — 11 years ago
Awesome Sparkling Red Brut — 13 years ago
A lot going on but still too young. The tannins are too powerful and intense for me. But there is a lot of dark fruit and complexity present. — 8 years ago

Nice, crisp, easy drinking — 9 years ago
2009 has made a wine that is more accessible now, feel free to open it up but make sure to give it plenty of air. The nose is generous, tar, roses, sappy red fruits and licorice, savory for sure. The palate is a little less generous and firm, but unlike 2010, more enjoyable now.
