Excellent, and natural to boot. — 8 months ago
Complex, not light. Definitely an experience. — 10 months ago

Absolutely wonderful Gevrey. Maybe lacking one tiny smidge in complexity and depth, but I’m sure that would come with age. Very dark and somewhat dusty red fruit on the nose and palate, maybe a bit of cassis. Excellent length and freshness. Great acid, and a great pairing with sole meunière and John Dory in butter sauce at Le Duc in Paris. — 4 months ago
Archetypal northern Rhône Syrah. Dark fruit, black pepper, herbs, and a bit briney. Nice and savory. — 7 months ago
Last One hiding in basement. Still punches well above its class at 12 years retirement age. Delicate Balance with decent complexity. Marie Bob visit. — 9 months ago

Lovely! Classic, clean and crisp. — 5 months ago
2011 vintage. Solid aging cork in great shape along with a good fill. Decanted and tasted immediately and over the course of 1.5 hours. Threw zero sed. Light-medium body. Earthy, rhubarb, sous bois nose. Same in flavor profile with an additional, pleasant trace of dirtiness. Well-made and holding up very nicely but clearly on the subtle side of the ledger at this point. Any overt NSG fruitiness in the nursery is gonzo. Pretty but not in a youthful way. Aging very gracefully with another 5-7 years at this stage before changing addresses. 12.2.23. — 5 months ago
Apple on the palate. A nice brüt blend. October 2023. — 7 months ago
Tight but complex enough. Concentrated red fruits. Good but not great — 8 months ago
Was going to get the 2016 given I generally love that vintage across much of Europe but the somm talked me into the 2015 saying it was more open. He was right - this was delicious, and still traditional and “old school” with a restrained 13.5%. Tons of pepper and dark dark fruit with some olive. Very delicious with nice medium acid and a long finish. — 2 years ago
