Nice smooth zin. Lots of leather and tobacco on the nose which seems to come with these wines with a fair amount of age in them. I prefer the fresher and jammy zins of more current vintages but a very nice wine. Worth having again but did not think it was worth the $65 price tag at store. 1994 vintage in April 2016. — 9 years ago
18.5% alc. Non-vintage (bottled in 2007). 30 Brix at harvest, 5 Brix RS.
UPDATE: Tasted again 3 days later (and perhaps more importantly served at 55F!) this deserves an extra point so revising my rating to 90 pts. — 9 years ago

This one could easily go 50 years. Tannins have subsided somewhat, but it's still remarkably primary. Wish I had another to stash away. One of my favorite PS/Zin Vineyards. Went great with ribs and the last college football game of the year. — 11 years ago
