WE says it's a 94. Maybe someday, but it needs years to soften up. — 8 years ago
Lovely medium bodied wine. Notes of cedar, dried herbs, raspberry liqueur, blue fruit, raisin. Supple tannins. Long lingering finish. — 8 years ago
Maybe it's not as mature as Adriano Celentano in his great Verona Concert 2012 which I'm watching now, but being youthful like Adriano's songs are :) it's pleasure to enjoy young (tannins are mild & mellow) . Full body, freaking heavy bottle but wine itself seems to be not so heavy, full of vivid fruits, mainly blackberries, velvety, deep crimson color, luscious liquid with long spicy, herbal finish. 89pts. — 8 years ago

Orange enough for me. Kirsch nose, orange blossom water entry, long zesty finish, a little too much residual sugar keeps this from greater-ness — 8 years ago
Very nice sweet port. — 8 years ago

This isn't as good as tre donne, but it'll do. :) — 9 years ago
This is one of two tranquillo or still Proseccos that I have tasted. Lemon and wet stones on the nose, round mid-palate (10% Chard, 90% Glera) with some stone fruit, decent acidity with a very long tart citrus finish. Very pleasing. — 10 years ago
Blackberries, cassis, raspberries, porty, sandalwood, smoke, with discreet vanilla on the nose. Big and chewy with sour dark fruits, fresh acidity, and very integrated tannins. — 11 years ago
Perfect for our costata di manzo, juicy with blackberry and on palette and prune on the finish. — 7 years ago
Really nice bodied wine had it to grilled Dorado, perfect — 7 years ago
An incredible wine with tons of potential but so closed at the moment. Bone dry, laser acidity with a s***load of power but never heavy. Super long finish. Dark, deep and mysterious. Like Pechstein always is.
Mathieu Kaufmann, the cellar master of von Buhl told us to let this Baby sleep for ten years. But then it will blow your mind. I'm 100% sure. Buhl did an amazing job in the last years after the big "change" in the winery. This Pechstein is the perfect proof. Well done! — 8 years ago
White Port not seen often enough on wine lists in the US. Great aperitif, for bartenders or to end the night. — 8 years ago
Very nice 20 year tawny. Mouth filling with excellent profile throughout. Had at Paul Bocuse. — 9 years ago
Herbal like nose at beginning, spicy nose, very peppery character, at first taste it has like a metallic note but that fades away with time, round but heavy style pulls some berries and light cherry notes - an ok aged vintage port #portwineday #winelover — 9 years ago
