The nose was luxurious and spicy with wild berries in sweet cream, then salty, smoky, dusty spice. It was incredibly soft on the palate, displaying a mix of ripe blueberry, cherry, blackberry, spice and flaky, toasty pie crust. The acidity was perfectly balanced and the '06 Rossi Ranch flawlessly carried it's 16% acl. It finished on brambly berries and hints of sweet spice. — 9 years ago

Very nice Zin with red fruit on the nose and a lot of black cherries, plums and licorice on the tast. Very nice soft, silky finish. Very well balanced and not hot at all considering the ACL was 14.8%. So much for IPOB. Dinner at Anthony's in Haddon Heights — 10 years ago

A perfect Double/Imperial IPA, this Batch#20 December 2014, This define's the style, is it better than Pliny The Elder? I would say so, I would go as far to say I like than Pliny The Younger, the closest beer I can compare it to, Big Big Hops, excellent sweet malt to balance out this big hop Bomb, this just so delicious and smooth for such a monster of a brew, 102 IBU, 10.2% ACL One Great beer that any beer geek needs to try, A true Classic like Stone's Ruination that changed IPA's forever, This one sets the bar so high, cannot wait to see another beer surpass this — 10 years ago
