Beautiful ruby color. Bright. Black cherry. Vanilla nose. Ripe red fruit. Cherry. Secondary plum and lilac. Great finish. Not too long but noticable adding to the depth and interest. — 9 years ago

Really just a lovely well aged wine. Graceful — 10 years ago
Complex aromas of cheese(parmasan), hint of butter, yellow fully ripen asian pear, hint of acacia on the nose. Med body, med p acidity(almost high), med p intensity, complex flavors of bitter pear(core side of pear), hint of grapefruit, and bitter structure came together. Long finish with yellow butter on the palate. Wide range of trebbiano can be matched with black ink squid spaghetti or vongole, or vegetaerian hummus. — 10 years ago
Really good daily wine. — 11 years ago
Very nervy and aromatic. You'll need to decant off the PYCM SO2, but after 30min-1 hour you'll be in heaven. Green apple, Asian pear, acacia flowers, toast from oak, LASER BEAM acidity. This is great white Burg. — 11 years ago
What an amazing Sauvignon Blanc form Oakville in Napa Valley. I love this wine because it has been aged in both Oak and Acacia wood for 6 months, which brings a unique feeling to the palate. The mouthfeel is a perfect balance of creaminess and acidly, with light spiciness and a long finish. I can't wait for my next glass! — 12 years ago
Oh my. Have got two bottles of this, and just opened the first one. Was always thinking this wine was hard to pair with anything so I kept passing these two bottles. They were just laying there for years and years. Waiting for their moment, which maybe had already passed, I feared. They waited...until today. Popped and poured it a minute ago. This is...sooo good! It has loads of melon and acacia honey in the nose, and the first impression when you taste this is also all kinds of ripe yellow fruits. But then...fresh, mineral tones, pure and clean. And so very vivid! Sweat and sour, a bit of salt in the aftertaste. Freakin’ delicious. — 8 years ago

Fruity, but not too sweet, not too bitter at all. Very smooth! Great with filet and roasted potatoes. — 11 years ago
2010: (90-100 year old vines) mid gold. Orange, apricot, acacia, white flowers, lychee. Full bodied, textured, mid- acid, apricot, quince, creamy, long floral finish. Honey texture. Loses faint sulphur note after 5 years & enters closed phase, wait over 15-20 years for best results — 11 years ago

Aged in Acacia wood. Smells fresh and grassy. Well balanced with nice acid. — 12 years ago
Last of the wines for our blind South African tasting but one of the best dessert wines in the world. Thick golden yellow. Perfumey on the nose with honeysuckle, honey, acacia, white floral notes, orange marmalade, and apricots. Balanced acidity (6.5/10) and full bodied. Thick texture and super rich with apricots, spices and honey. Rounded and long finish. Drink till 2047. (94+) — 8 years ago
