Tasted blind. So difficult for us in Bordeaux to identify the variety. But so clearly Spanish, and very good. — 9 years ago

— 8 years ago
Very easy drinking red with subtle complexity and nice acidity. Cherry and dark fruits with a hint of chocolate. Nothing special on the nose but can drink it like juice. Would absolutely buy again, especially given the price. — 9 years ago

Fresh and typical mencia from Ribeira Sacra! Lots of red fruits, high acidity, a classic... — 9 years ago
Rich, complex & pretty good value at under €20 in a restaurant! Will be trying to find this wine for #nye15 — 9 years ago
Wow. If you like dry reds, with a hint of pepper, this is the wine for you. 100% Tempranillo and has an awesome finish. My wine club guy gets kudos for picking this out for us. — 10 years ago

Extremely elegant, velvety and supremely delicious. This is the top single vineyard wine from Abadia Retuerta made from older vines. — 8 years ago
