What an interesting wine. Slightly transparent red in colour. Sweet note upfront, with gentle red berries in the middle. Medium acid note through the finish. — 8 years ago
Well balanced, very nice classic touch. Aromas of vegetable soup, red paprika are slightly too apparent. — 10 years ago

Very interesting wine. Started out pretty bitter but that transitioned slowly into a little spice and it ended up being nice. — 9 years ago

Skinny legs from South Africa! The v first time to have orange wine :D Fine marriage with cream sauce - love it. — 7 years ago
Waxy, strawberries, litchi, licorice, stony minerals, almost salty, this has punch and width, and provides an amazing texture on the length, complex and mineral-lazed finish. Gorgeous and for me one of the top examples of this variety made in the New a World. A.A. Badenhorst feeling! — 9 years ago
Enjoyed the Badenhorst Funky White immensely with Adi Badenhorst and Catherine Miles a few weeks ago in Austin Texas. Jura style - I believe 7yr solera. A few hundred bottles will be available in US at some point. — 10 years ago

I love this aperitif with seltzer or to add a touch of bitterness to the occasional white wine spritzer. An old family recipe with a bunch of herbs and aromatics. The label is shown under a different name on the app, but Badenhorst is where it’s at-if you haven’t tried their Chenin, you are missing out. — 5 years ago
