Ripe, fresh cherry on the nose. Raspberry. Low tannin presence and a very light, ethereal body. Slight herbal notes on the finish, which is fairly long — 8 years ago
Dark rich nose of toffee and plums. A bit floral. On the palate lighter than you would expect from an Amarone, but pleasant with a grip at the finish. — 10 years ago
Shared a 26-year-old wine with Matt and Kim. Opened up nicely with a bit of leather and nice fruit. — 10 years ago
When a woman makes wine !! Floral, fruity, almost silky .. Firm tanins, a great wine. — 11 years ago
Translucent, light purple, yellow orange tinge. Light but length length length. Water at the start then raisin flavour that lasts for a minute. — 3 years ago
Black cherry and violets commingle with red cherry lavender and raspberry in a clean, and enticing nose of fruit and flower. Blueberry, blackberry and cassis are extras, but this is not the fruit bomb the description conjures. There is something light, sunny and natural about the whole; wisps of sweet tobacco and vanilla blossom undulate on a forest and mushroom motif that feels springy, panoramic and breezy. The palate boasts dried cranberries, tangy raspberry and plump black cherry. Thyme a cinnamon dusting and the aforementioned tobacco, now a fine, smoky cigar. This one is gorgeous, and a testament to the estate. Ripe and juicy, but the oak is in check. Bravo! .

Completely drinkable; what a pleasure — 11 years ago
So sad, our last meal @inoteca. '96 Borgogno Riserva and truffled egg toast make for a marvelous send-off! Thank you 'inoteca! #inotecalastsip — 12 years ago
Came across a little flat even after 2.5 hour decant — 4 years ago
This was (is)...pretty damn divine. I literally stopped mid-conversation. Starts out with some pretty intense red fruitiness sitting in a pocket of rich earthy tobacco but then! It just evolves giving ya some ash, leather, notes of spearmint, rose petal here, a broken twig there all with this great long chewy finish. It’s like a goddamn stroll through through some majestic countryside where you stop and check out all those little details. — 5 years ago
Don't like sweet wines but this is an exercise in restraint. Clean, uncloying sweetness, acidity, and flowery, bright aromas all balanced on a razors edge — 6 years ago
Solid Freisa, classical yet approachable. A great #pinotlover replacement — 7 years ago
Such a great lil wine. Ripe cherries, pops of raspberry, followed by waves of tobacco and sweet-wood smoke. Bright acidity, backed by just the right amount of structure. — 8 years ago
Really nice wine specially with a piece of meet — 9 years ago
Great with Jazz and a Caesar salad. — 10 years ago
Warm fruit on the nose that combines with a velvety palate of berries and licorice.. Elegant, flavorful and in a good place right now but will age.. — 11 years ago

Drinking the 2016 in 2024. Very similar to a Pinot Noir. Light bouquet, with red fruit notes. Light smooth flavors with a lightly tannic finish. — a year ago
