A favorite WA wine to date. Very soft and fruity to start, long finish with a bit of grip. Would buy again for sure. Lots of mushroom, lots of oak — 3 years ago
This drinks perfectly at 11 years old. Definitely Jura reminiscent. A bit tight at first, tart lemon and rind. Then toasted marshmallow and burnt sugar, then some funk. Just brilliant. — 5 years ago
A masterpiece. So, so good. — 6 years ago
Nice enough as a wine, but can’t say that it has either the green pepper or the somewhat “purple”ish qualities of cab franc that I’ve come to expect from the Loire and Napa, respectively. Maybe too old? This was a gift and so not sure what the storage conditions were, slightly stewed. Still nice pairing with chicken thighs with olives and feta. — 4 months ago
Funky fun. High sulfur. Barnyard funk 101. Would never know it’s a SavBlanc. This is great stuff. Has to be part of The Trustfall. #doloresoutpost — 4 years ago
On the richer side for a Pinot. Sour cherry flavor, higher than average tannin, lots of baking spices. Good value. — 5 years ago
This wine really shows more of a light copper color than pink. Its nose is full of ripe strawberries and an herbal note. On the palate, big time fruit again, this time featuring citrus. There is a strong mineral angle, too, and plenty of wonderful acidity. This will pair easily with the usual pink wine fare, but it will also be able to handle a pork chop or some sausage. — 9 months ago
Bright and fruity with soft tannins. Peppery, bing cherries, with a smooth finish. — 4 years ago
Nimble, funky jaminess - the opposite of what you’d expect of a Cali Zin with almost 14% abv, in the best possible way. Very much in harmony and for my money, Scholium at its accessible best. — 5 years ago

For $17 this is a fantastic bottle of wine. Bright but rich with nice acid. Balsamic cherries? — 2 months ago
