This was a 5 lane highway , each lane filled with a flavor characteristic going 100 mph. Never did any of these flavors (brioche,chalk,apple skin, peach, citrus ) change lanes yet some how you tasted them as one. This bottle was the definition of great champagne. Upside from here but nothing wrong opening one now if you have a few. — 9 years ago

The old Reserve 5 block Cabernet blend. This has a silky smooth and long finish, minimal tannins, and blackberry/cherry fruit. Fantastic vintage from 2013. — 9 years ago

Going to kick off my birthday with one of my favorite zin producers. Very dark inky purple with no mudding and heavy staining. Black berry forward with spicy high notes. A hot wine, leather, tobacco and medium tannins. This wine is great and I could have let it sit for another 5 years. Still is a little young. — 9 years ago
