Laughing stock and specifically portfolio remains one of my favourite BC wines. It’s composed of 45% Merlot, 25% Cab Sav, 22% Cab Franc, 7% Malbec, 1% petit Verdot. The 2012 vintage is still holding well. Dark plums, cherries, raspberries. medium earthiness, mild cigar box followed by red peppers spices, cloves and anise. It is just past it’s peak but still holding well. Should drink within the next year. — 7 years ago

BC white. With fish — 8 years ago
On par with great BC pg. green Apple and citrus nose with subtle hints of brown sugar, sweet basil, toffee.
Strawberry, cranberry, raspberry and apple mouth. Slightly (really slightly) oily mouthfeel. Good line of necessary acidity to give it zip and hold the structure together. Honey on the finish. Finish is long, but could be longer. — 9 years ago
Excellent BC Pinot — 6 years ago

Well balanced southern BC red blend from Oliver. Didn’t know anything about this wine while drinking. Nor did those I was drinking with. It was a gift. I commented that it was easily the quality of a $30 bottle. You won’t find it in the states and lucky to find in Canada for that matter. Vineyard produces limited number of cases. They state their 2016 vintage at 500 cases. If you do find it, BUY IT! — 6 years ago

YUM! Smells like dark berries and cherries. Super smooth with a moderately sweet finish. Similar to a syrah — 7 years ago

Has aged nicely! Wonderful BC blend. — 7 years ago
A Produttori with burgers.. Amazing. Should we all cellar the 2013 produttori bc it could be very interesting in 15 yrs @Antonio Galloni ..? — 8 years ago
2161. Great! Decanting — 9 years ago

1996 Screaming Eagle. Decanted for about an hour bc the cork fell into the bottle. No hints of being over the hill. No vanilla or oak. Tons of plum, raspberry. Maybe a bit thin at the end palate. Note- do not decant next time, just open and let it breathe. — 7 years ago

This was the last of the ten wineries we visited. We were “done”. We bought a few bottles and opened the first a while later and it was SO GOOD! Better than we remembered. This BC Bordeaux (Meritage) blend of Merlot, Cab Sauv, Malbec & Cab Franc. BC was impressive. — 6 years ago
