Full Strawberry nose with white pepper. Taste juicy red berry front settles down to a wash blueberry. Then at back of mouth intensity starts with flavour of roasted red peppers done over oak coals and finish cleanse of eucalyptus.🍷 — 5 years ago
From magnum. Lush and rich, this is undeniably delicious. With a relatively restrained nose and soft yet supple tannins, this 16’ has a bit more elegance than the 14’ and the 15’ I tasted. — 5 years ago
14 hands down the best. — 6 years ago

Smooth table wine, good with steak. — 5 years ago
I feel that this is probably the best Pinot Noir producer out of the finger lakes although the competition is finally a good one. The nose has a wonderful aroma of currant a plum with undertones of spice including nutmeg and mulling spices. The palate is gorgeously light and elegant but still somewhat juicy at the same time. Flavors of plum, sour cherry and baking spice along with wonderfully balance acidity. The finish is soft and elegant with juicy fruit notes of lingering acidity. Wow... a great pairing for roasted pork. — 6 years ago
Decanted for approximately 40 minutes. Blend of Syrah, Grenache, and a smidgen of Mourvèdre. The best vintage of this I think I’ve had. Generous with the red and black fruits, soft but firming tannins on the back end and posses a long finish. Great structure and balance. Surprised that I found a vintage of this age for a basic CDR at a grocery store and it is showing really well. Fantastic QPR. $14 @ H-E-B. — 6 years ago
That's what Cab Sav is supposed to taste like. Fruits will ease with age. — 7 years ago
8 different grapes. Starts light, finishes dry. — 8 years ago
Beautiful color and aroma. Little bottle shock 2014. Love it. — 9 years ago
Smooth flavor that went great with dinner — 9 years ago
Black cherry, lively acidity, not the quality of red fruits I remember from 2006 vintage — 9 years ago
One of our fave Napa cabs. Also, no longer produced...
It’s begun to decay, so drink up if you have em. Lovely oak treatment, and ethereal balance. — 4 years ago
Tonight’s nightcap 🥃
During our stay at the hospital for the birth of our son some dear friends of ours brought my wife & I a care package. In it were all manner of goodies and treats, as well as a bottle of champagne and this scotch. They know us all too well 🤫🤷🏻♂️

Caramel, creme brûlée, charred orange peels, and Christmas spice cake on the nose. Mild notes of moss on the palate with a pronounced but welcome warmth on the way down. Smooth and perfectly suitable for ending the day with. — 5 years ago
Cherry and spice — 6 years ago
Amazing wine......drinking with Rob K who just got promoted (again) to Full Prof (yes the spelling of Full is correct).....at this rate he will be Dean of the Faculty by August. Wine is a wild mixture of petroleum, chocolate, toffee, blueberrys.......everlasting finish......for a 2002 this thing is hitting its prime right now — 7 years ago
Nice pleasant, well balanced, smooth from the beginning to the end. I like acid start with flavor and peppery and spicy finish in balanced way.. This is it. — 8 years ago
Martin Bergo
Yes! A great representation of what can become of gamay from a Cru village wine. The typical esters are there on the nose but the overall fruit and some darker tertiary flavours are present. A bit light on the palate despite the 14% but this is made up for by the long delicate spicy-flowery finish. — 4 years ago
