The Wagner family struck gold with this beautiful, buttery Chardonnay. Light acidity welcomed with an explosion of ripe papaya, toasted banana and lemon grass. Very interesting take on a delightful Chardonnay. Fresh, exotic, and rich. — 8 years ago

Aloha Champagne Fridays (this is the inaugural occasion). This is superb for around $20. The label lets your know this is dry all the way. 100% Chardonnay. Yellow apples and light caramel notes. Friends who take my reviews seriously (should proceed with caution) might prefer the Grüner Brut (Szigeti from Austria) from a little while back at this price point. But this is darn good. — 7 years ago

2006, men fick av oklara anledningar inte områdesklassas. Lite oxiderad doft. Dill, gräddfil, trä, mörk frukt. Mer balanserad i smaken med fattoner och integrerade chokladiga tanniner. — 8 years ago
Fruit driven with seducing upper palate acidity and gulpy mouth watering tension. Natural and pure. Holds oxidation for around one hour - be aware. — 8 years ago

Oh ‘13, why you gotta be so botrytis-y. (Yes, late rains, sadly). Under the gingery chamomile stuff, it’s solid Bougros. And not nearly as noble rotten as some. — 7 years ago
