This wine completes my ‘01 - ‘04 vertical and was the best of the four! Not sure what wine others were drinking but this rocked!
45+ minute decant. Dark red color with a brownish rim. Nose had massive cedar and dark cherries. Medium plus depth filled with wood, graphite, licorice, and cherries. Refined and very elegant texture. Close to prime drinking age, but has some years left. Medium finish.
Miss London and these great Bordeaux. I need to reduce the Napa Cab in my cellar more in favor of these. — 3 days ago
Questioned why I bought this before opening, but after the bottle was finished I remembered why!!
Gewurztraminer is very underrated. Wine was light gold color. Massive floral nose with white peaches and honey. Nice balance of acidity and sweetness. Quite lovely. Try it! — 15 days ago
Extremely complex! Cloudy gold color with orange hues. Great balance between tart and sweet flavors. Wine has all sorts of fruit - oranges, grapefruit, honey, coconut, tangerine, melon, and even some guava. Love it! One of my favs. Paired lovely with 4hr slow smoked ribs. — 8 days ago
