Absolute bargain at the price. Up there with many Bordeaux blends at 3x the price. Balanced with good acidity and tannins; bramble fruit on the nose and a pronounced coffee note. — a month ago
Delicious ‘syrah’ style shitaz from McLaren Vale. Not overdone; lovely balanced structure with blueberry and plum fruit. — 3 months ago
Nice dark fruit; blackberries , black and red currants. If I work hard I can also get coffee . Slightly lacking on the palate although well balanced. — 4 months ago
Lovely garnet colour. Dark fruit, some spice, a touch of mint and pencil shavings on the nose. Too sweet for my taste on the palate but good balance of acidity and ripe tannin. Plump ripe texture. — 13 days ago
Hmm, slightly perplexed and disappointed! Not a bad wine, but not the wine i had hoped for or expected! Nice bright dark fruits but lacking the structure of a good Chianti! Almost TOO approachable; without the acidity I’d expected! — 2 months ago
Wow! This cost me a tenner and Ive had much worse Clarets at 3x the price! This is balanced, harmonious, well made, and delicious. Bang on type! Bargain — 3 months ago
Very drinkable light red but not the quality i was expecting from this producer. Well balanced but lacking any intensity — 15 days ago
Wow! 2018 and still young. Beautiful structure; could age for another 20 years. Blue fruits with a light freshness all derived from a superb structure with firm acidity which allows the fruit to come forward and express itself. — a month ago
I’m a big fan of this classy number; very well balance example of a Bordeaux blend; classy and classic and superb value for the quality! — 3 months ago
