I'll second Mark's comment. Headache! I assume from sulfites. I got a nasty one each time I drank this. Last bottle I'll buy. Too bad because it's not bad otherwise. — 11 years ago

Definite everyday kinda guy with long but limited experience -- that said I've enjoyed enough decent St Emillion through the years to know when I've hit a bad, decent, or very good. For the price and 2010 vintage I'd give this a notch above decent -- or a good value for the price, not to mention that good value in a good year of St Em. can be a hit or miss proposition. I know this isn't a killer year but it's about as good as you'd want for year and 12-euro price — 11 years ago

I'm updating my comment because this wine seemed to get worse after opening, when I made my review above. How much worse? Almost enough for a sour face. I may have learned to let it breathe before making comments; I thought wines could only improve after that, but well... Naturally I wouldn't buy it again because of this, unless I suppose it were my only known option and I knew it would be consumed by a large dinner party quickly. Which is to say, avoid it.
