Thick legs, hues of purple and a deep red color. Aroma is underriped cherry preserves and a wet, woody forest. Taste starts with a mild sweet tone and finishes acidic in the back of the mouth. The flavor is spicy, maybe a little black peppery, and hints of prune. This wine finishes medium to medium long and would be a great pairing with beef medallions and a plum balsamic reduction, or roasted asparagus and zuchinni with cheese assortment.
