This continues to be one of the best vintages of this lesser vineyard wine which Haisma has made. He has lost the lease on that place (I think). Cherry, dust, black tea notes, hint tarragon. Spicy.

May 5th, 2024One of my favorites but I don’t think Mark makes this wine any more (he is one of the few winemakers who gave me a kiss). Great juice ‘Babyspeck’ is gone and this drinks now awesome. Forest floor some dark cherries but not to much, hint chalk touch lime. A classic.

Mar 20th, 2021I thought I reviewed this wine before but now can’t find it in the database. This is a more or less drink now wine. Cherry 🍒 plenty of acid well balanced and super nice to drink. There is some depth to the Wine. Chalky and wet stones. Perhaps cranberries. Can go for another 3 years or so.
