Quite stony on the nose , green apple , wet wool. On the palate fills out well with more green fruits , apple , pear and quince with a creamy , slightly waxy character to go with the flinty , saline and stony notes . Good balanced acidity and decent , honey tinged finish . Enjoyable now though will age well over the next 10 -15 years or so . — 8 months ago
Decent amount of funk on opening, which blew off after an hour. Bright fruit, mild tannins and a blast of herbs. Everything I want from a Cab Franc. — 7 years ago

So fresh and perfectly mature. Not at all overripe. Great wine I'll probably never have again. At La Rotisserie de La Tour d'Argent. — 9 years ago
Racy acidity and really enjoyable. What was lacking was the amount of fruit that screams Chenin. — 8 months ago
Red fruit and herbaceous nose. Nice light medium body with hint of green bell pepper. A nice intro to Cab Franc. — 9 months ago

Gilbert Van Hassel
This remains one of the greatest white dry wines of France although probably not for everybody. Every year is a surprise and that inconsistency can be off-putting. Golden color, medium weight, quite high in alcohol (14.5) and cloudy. Long burn, apricot, dried raisins, apple and pineapple. — 6 months ago
