Almost perfect. Stewed fruit, great bitterness, extremely round and perfect tannins. Close to a grand cru burgundy in a good year with 10-15 years of age. — 25 days ago
Always loved this wine. Pure Sangiovese with extremely fine tannins in a super year — a month ago
The wine is just incredible. It needs about one hour of decanting but is still very fruit forward after 8 years in bottle. High minerality, saline, cherries and strawberries. Great weight and needs another two years.

I love Quintarelli, despite 16.5 alcohol his wines never show it. Balance is the key word here and it makes all the difference. Too bad it so difficult to get them and they are becoming expensive — 20 days ago
This is a very, a Vega Tokaji. Good acidity quite linear tasting, better than the 2014 Yquem of yesterday out of a double magnum. — a month ago
High minerality, saline, lush and full bodied. Extremely refined would make many grand and premier grand cru burgundies blush. — 15 days ago
Quite meaty wine with fine tannins. Medium weight with dominant raspberry taste. Not very refined. — a month ago
Beautiful nose on a medium body wine. Strawberry and plum taste with delicious tannins. A bit of bitterness. Keep will develop nicely. — 2 months ago

This remains one of the greatest white dry wines of France although probably not for everybody. Every year is a surprise and that inconsistency can be off-putting. Golden color, medium weight, quite high in alcohol (14.5) and cloudy. Long burn, apricot, dried raisins, apple and pineapple. — 9 hours ago
