Good again — primarily just noting that this wine is highlighted to Don Julio and was also Fogon Asado’s flagship. — 17 days ago

Still vibrant and full bodied, the ‘07 Malbec Argentino from Catena Zapata is loaded with blue and black fruit, oak and leather. Despite its boldness, there are layers and structure to keep it from being overpowering, both from mild tannins and minerality. Enjoy at our next asado or save for a few years. (5/24h — 13 days ago
Fruit forward aromas of blackberry and black plum with undertones of baking spices. Round and rich on the palate with good acidity, tart blackberries and spicy tannins. — a month ago
Sipping Fine Wine
Blend of 42% cabernet sauvignon, 30% malbec and 28% cabernet franc, deep Ruby color, purple edges, with aromas of dark berry fruits, cacao, sweet spice and herb notes. On the palate flavors of blackberry, dark cherry and black plum with cacao, vanilla, black pepper and earthy notes. Fine tannins, long finish ending with fruit, sweet spice and earthy mineral character. Nice! — a day ago
