Born and raised in Bilbao, and father to a Riojan girl. Sales Director at Roda, running for WSET4 Diploma, but eaaaasy
A hint of blood, blueberries, wet leaves, forest. Firm tannins, good acid, elegant texture, yet loses volume in the palate. Oak subtle, long, notes of powder.spices. Liquorice. Complex. Dark side of Mencía — 2 months ago
It shows the power of Ribera, even in a wet vintage like 2018. tannins are present. Expressive nose of ripe cherries, plums, chocolate, good acid, showing some tertiary, long life ahead. — 2 months ago
Great value, which goes for their while range. Clean, well managed Garnacha, with raspberries, strawberries, good acidity amd mouthfill . Uncomplicated, good. I doubt I can drink something better at that price tag — 3 months ago
Expressive nose of red and blue feuit, mesium bodied, decent length and fine tannins, yet nothing exciting. — 3 days ago
Its glory buttery and ripe white boned fruit days are behind. I confront an oxidative nose with hints of almond, brown sugar and hay. Distant Lemmon and quince. Good acid, old fruit. — 2 months ago
Needed breathing the oak very present at first. Then it opened to cherries, lemmon , thyme, curry flower, elegant, tannins yet to be tamed, good freshness to it. Loved it the second day, not so much the first. Great value, feel it fresher than Ribera, that would have been my blind tasting guess., — 2 months ago
There is freshness, stemmy wet leaves, raspberries, the mazuelo bringing some tannins to the elegant red fruit driven Garnacha. Fresh, tense, spicy red. Good weight to its lightness — 2 months ago
Unusual nose for a riesling, ripe boned fruit, quince, butter, nutmeg, beautiful acidity, body and freshness. — 2 months ago
Expressive nose of plums, liquorice, ripe cherries, a hint of juniper, landscape, terroir, gets me there. Shines, a bit alcoholic, yet shines — 3 months ago
