Typical marguax, which I love. Opens up smoothly to notes of dark cherries, light plums, tobacco, cedar and earth/ forest floor. Tannins well integrated with 14 years of aging and 30mins of decanting. — 22 days ago
Great third label of latour without breaking the bank. Purplish red, black fruits , plum, capsicum, pepper.. medium to heavy bodied, but generally balanced with tannins not as well integrated. still a little too young.. will be more ready closer to 2030 — a day ago
Decanted 3 hours.. ruby red and purple,, nose full of blackberries, pepper and oak. Mouthfeel - heavy bodied, moderate tannins, leather, spice, capsicum, peppercorn and vanilla. Tannins well integrated. Smooth and pleasant to drink. Long finish. — 22 days ago
Green apple, tobacco, smell of old granny’s cupboard. Good structure with well integrated tannins. But feels flattish — 22 days ago
