Dinner of the year (so far, it’s only April!) and a wonderful Burgundy. All the classic ingredients…red fruits, deep concentration, light yet full bodied 👌🏼 — 2 months ago
Our first time at The Grill and exceeded expectations. The meal is excellent. As for the wine, perfect California Cabernet in the Bordeaux style. Big, smooth, super concentrated with “dark notes” (whatever that means!).
Totally delicious! — a month ago
A little young to be drinking now but still a great wine, deep fruit concentration, very dry, lot of tanin — 8 months ago
The Echezeaux journey continues….Grand Cru, slightly lighter, more delicate, red fruits, hint of pepper, even some vanilla/toffee 🤷🏼♂️
In summary, really good 👍🏼 — 2 months ago
We are creatures of habit and our new habit is Echezeaux!
Superb burgundy (second only to our DRC tasting but that’s not a fair fight)
All the usual red fruits, deep concentration, minerality, smooth and complex at the same time. 👌🏼 — 2 months ago
Neville had to stop himself to drink it. Always a sign of good wine! — 9 months ago
Developing a real penchant for Cote Rotie! This one had all the right characteristics; rich, spicy yet smooth and a long finish. No complaints here…. — 9 months ago

Back drinking after a month off!
Great wine to get back in the saddle. Continuing our Vosne-Romanee obsession.
Unsurprisingly, dominated by red fruits (red currants, red cherries) with a smooth, concentrated finish.
