Impressive for Lufthansa to serve this independent Champagne in their first class! — 7 years ago
Superbly balanced and incredibly ripe for its age. Can’t wait to have more of it over the next 10+ years! — 7 years ago
Not quite ripe yet. Also not worth the price (yet). Fine wine nonetheless. — 7 years ago
Extremely funky when opened, wet cellar smell. Opened up beautifully though to rich dried banana on the nose and very pleasant rounded taste. Refined perlage. I still prefer the solera blanc de blanc from Selosse more. — 7 years ago
At twice the price of a Calon Segur 2010, this Lynch Bages did not stand a chance... needs more maturity still. — 7 years ago
What a bombshell! Had it on a night of various Champagnes and this one took us by surprise and won the night. — 7 years ago
Wow! Never thought a Spanish wine with an Italian name would kick every French wine’s ass 😉 Truly remarkable, not just for its age, but one of the best reds I’ve had! — 7 years ago
Definitely takes getting used to this style of Champagne, but this solera system blend is definitely something you won’t forget even if it’s not your favorite style. Still it’s more elegant than Selosse’s other editions. — 7 years ago
