This is a somewhat experimental, non-interventionist Riesling from Friedrich Becker. It’s alive and vibrant, but lacks the finesse of some of their other wines. Mineral laden on the nose, stone fruit on the palate. Slightly off dry. This wine is fun and tasty, but seems a little disjointed. The alcohol content seems higher than the label suggests (12%).
