Bright deep gold. Inviting nose of yellow tropical fruit and butterscotch. Echoed on the full-bodied palate with medium acidity and oaky banana with a touch of white pepper and anise on the moderate finish. Carneros Chardonnay isn’t meant to be complex; it’s big and bold and bomb-y. This is no exception. At its best with rich New World dishes like pot pie or southern pork roast. Drink now through 2022.

Mar 21st, 2021A nice Napa Chardonnay. Showing limes, lemons, Citrus, light Peach, vanilla, oak, grapefruits and spices. Not very complex, though.
Medium plus in body. Nice and engaging.
Nice finish, but I expected more complexity at this price level.
Might get better in the next 2 years.
14.2% alcohol by volume.
87 Points.
$40.
