Great, easy-drinking... the blend makes it a bit smoother than the 100% Sangiovese version. Ripe tannin.

2016v. Lots of deep dark cherry, savory tomato leaf, and tobacco on the nose. On the palette, there's a ton of chewy oak and lots of acid. A big wine that is great with food. I got this wine on deep discount at WF for about $15/bottle. It's a great value at that price, but I probably wouldn't pay $20 for it. 13.5% ABV.
