We had the 2015 Vintage on 7/17-18/22. Bouquet of red fruit and leather. Raspberry, strawberry, leather and tobacco on the palate. Medium bodied; Old World wine. The tannins were smoothed out. Very good

A very fresh, enticing nose of fresh violets, black mulberry and a touch of licquorice. Very unusual for a Nebbiolo or Barbaresco. On the palate quite cool but with the unmistakable tannic(if a bit dry) grip. Polished, elegant, quite cool (cement aged). Carries the 15% alc effortlessly and unnoticed. A very nice wine, great with food.

I seem to get hazelnut a lot from Nebbiolo. This was a bit rigid, grippy, and noticably youthful. Good, and already on to the 2013... Coming up next!!!
