It's time for my #FridayCabernetfix. Here is a delicious Cabernet from Napa Valley.

Dark inky in color with a very short purplish rim.

Pretty nose with blueberries, wildflowers, raspberries, sweet cherries, black currants, light cedar, dark chocolates, licorice, coffee, light alcohol, tobacco, peppercorn, spices, light earth and pencil lead.

Full-bodied and soft, with medium acidity and long legs.

Dry on the palate with sweet cherries, black currants, plums, raspberries, oak, herbs, light vanilla, spices, dark chocolates, coffee, light cola, earth and peppercorn.

Long finish with fine grained tannins and tangy cranberries.

This is a very tasty Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa Valley. Still young, but already drinking very nicely, with great potential in the next decade.

Showing nice complexity with a nice mouthfeel. A good quality wine that will age nicely in the next 10 to 15 years.

Needs time to open up properly. I decanted it for 2 hours. Good by itself as a sipping wine, and good with food too.

This 100% Cabernet Sauvignon feels like a Bordeaux blend. Tangy and rich. Fruit forward and elegant. A Delicious wine.

Grapes are grown in Howell Mountain and Calistoga. Aged for 20 months in (80% new) French Oak barrels. A small production of only 7 barrels produced.

14.7% alcohol by volume.

92 points.

$130.
