After about an hour after pouring the decanter still had very long legs. It is a truly great wine after about an hour in the decanter.

What structure! This '09 is more tightly wound than the '06 and '07. The nose has similarities throughout the vintages of stewed plums, leather, and mocha spices. I like the '09 the best given it opens up slowly and evolved throughout the entire bottle.
