Really fun and interesting to watch this evolve over the course of the tasting, becoming increasingly savory and peaty. Floral notes and candied red fruit turning into dried fruit, plums, licorice and damp, mossy earth. This bottle was of terrific provenance and as a result had aged beautifully. Acidity is still very bright and lifts everything up wonderfully.

Sweet cherry pie with sherry notes. Syrupy and lacking texture. Disappointed.

Big, rich and ripe. Loads of sweet fruit here. Drinking well.

Wow. The perfume is intense and seductive. Great balance of acidity and bright bing cherry. Long sublime finish. A great great Californian Pinot that at ten years can go longer.
