2007-ridge - soil, manure smell, a bit bolder than the 2006. I liked this one but needs to open up a lot. Can stand many more years of cellaring. 9.0+ $260

My favourite for the night. Full-bodied with big bouquet of berries, earthy smokiness and some spice. Well structured with fresh black fruits and some minerality. Nice firm tannins giving it a long finish.
