Ruby red without a violet core, a bit cloudy perhaps unfiltered; austere with tart fruit on the nose and a touch of pyrazine-like notes; high acids and spicy on the palate with cranberries, unripe strawberries, and a fairly long gummy-worm finish. Elegant yet simple. 13.5% and 25 USD

Ripe but sophisticated bouquet. Strawberry stew, sweet plum, clove, tomato, sagebrush and underbrush. Less fruity, more mineral palate with flavours of raw meat, iron, underbrush and sagebrush. Wonderful and demanding wine that without proper attention can be easily underestimated. Very young.
