A big thank you to Pirathon for sending over this bottle of their Silver Label 2018 Shiraz for us to taste.
Made from Barossa Valley (South Australia) fruit and sitting at 15% alcohol, this bold red is definitely not shy.
It’s deep and a nearly opaque garnet colour in the glass. On the nose it’s spicy and full of juicy fruits. Think plums, blackberries, dark chocolate and baking spices. It’s full bodied with an amazing length of flavour that suggests it’ll continue to develop in the cellar for a number of years.
All opinions are my own. Drink what you enjoy!
