Nose is vaguely rosy on open. Mostly closed.

Palate is classic brisset precise fruit. Some delicious cherries.

Fruit gets a little more giving with time. Needs 3-5 years I think.

Well golly, this is stunning. It needs air as it is Santenots which always needs air. It’s so elegant and precise. The aromas are so detailed and subtle. Floral, red cherries, spices, loads of mineral, lovely hit of earth on the back end. Gorgeous. Will open I’m sure as it gets even more air. Really floral after 20 minutes. Dizzying. Palate is supremely elegant and so precise with gorgeous, refined and detailed tannins that are barely sweet and so earthy. Really high quality tannins and a huge kick of red cherry fruit on the finish. There is serious volume and amplitude here and it has the Brisset touch. It has outrageous length and just a stunning, sexy mouthfeel. Wow. This is incredible. Incredible minerality on the finish. So refined. It has such subtle opulence. This will be better in 5 years but is not inaccessible now.
