It is time for a tasty Cabernet for my #FridayCabernetfix.

Dark ruby in color with a short reddish rim.

Full bodied, smooth and elegant, with medium acidity.

Dry and very fruity on the palate with a great mouthfeel.

Showing black fruits with cedar, vanilla, leather, earth, Indian spices, chocolates, tobacco, peppercorn, coffee, light cola and pencil lead.

Long finish with round tannins and tangy cherries.

This 6 year old from the great 2016 vintage is showing great complexity now. A gorgeous wine that will age nicely in the next 20 years.

Delicious right out of the bottle and better with airtime.

I had it a year ago, and it was delicious then, but now it is so much better. What a wonderful surprise.

Rich, opulent, spicy and fruit forward.

I paired it with a Charcuterie board of meats and cheeses. A great sipping wine too.

A blend of 90% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Cabernet Franc.

15.2% alcohol by volume.

96 points.

Time for a good Cabernet for my #FridayCabernetfix. Here is gorgeous one.

Dark inky in color (almost black) with a very short purple rim.

Strong nose of cooked plums, cherry pie, raisins, dried figs, oak, black currants, licorice, vanilla, dark chocolates, cola, pencil lead, light herbs, turmeric, light alcohol, peppercorn, spices, light earth, leather and tobacco.

Full-bodied, bold and elegant, with medium acidity and long legs.

Dry and very fruity on the palate with cooked black cherries, blackberries, plums, wood, spices, vanilla, tobacco, espresso, chocolates, earth, alcohol, graphite, cola and peppercorn.

Long finish with fine tannins, red pepper and tangy cherries.

This is a very tasty and young Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa Valley. Already delicious. Rich, extracted and fruit forward. Well balanced with great complexity. Big and bold with a great mouthfeel.

Good right out of the bottle, but better after a couple of hours of decanting. It really shines after 6 hours of airtime.

Will be better in the next 5 to 15 years. This has the potential to get to 97-98 points.

A good sipping wine to share with friends and talk about. Still a little hot at the back of the throat. Smooth, spicy and elegant, yet powerful.

I paired it with a charcuterie board of meats and cheeses.

A blend of 90% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Cabernet Franc.

15.2% alcohol by volume.
