Kobler Family Vineyard Syrah

Blackberries, meaty minerals, and cheesy socks. Big acid and almost hot but not in a bad way. Big big wine in great shape. Nose is slightly corked or would have rated higher. Nothing of the kind on the palate. Weird Coravin experience- when I pumped it the cork came about 1/3 of the way and the nozzle spit wine at me. Guess I’m killing the whole bottle tonight.

Initial noise of clove, rosemary and lavender turning to sweet smokey BBQ meat. Black and blueberry attack with a stemmy finish. Missing the chocolate I tasted in the last bottle. Very enjoyable!Apologies for the wrecked label... Incompatible rack/bottle sizes.

Fairly sweet. Fully resolved tannins. Cocktail Syrah. Delicious. Day 2. Day 1 was cloudy. My fault.

Perfectly stored. Showing as good as any pax I've had. Silky. Huge dark roasty nose. Robust dark fruit. Amazeballz

Huge garrigue nose, particularly rosemary and sage. Chocolate and blackberry palate, not very meaty. Fairly high on acid but not imbalanced. In a nice spot.
