Warmth of Santa Barbara with that beach cool finish. Heated Oaked berry forward with mineral qualities that reminisce sea salt air and stainless contact. I love love love this wine.

15' Pali Wine Company Huntington Pinot Noir.
I purchased the 2014 because it was the editors choice from Wine Enthusiast. Very enjoyable for $20. I thought what the hell let's get six of the 2015 when I visited few months back. Very happy I did. I haven't had a better "California"Pinot for the money.

Tart but nicely balanced, juicy acidity. Clean mid-palate without overbearing “grapiness” of some Pinot noir. High alcohol content is not obvious (does not seem “hot” on the palate.). Not much earthy complexity on the finish. New world style without being overly fruity. Great with pork loin in cherry reduction.

$14.99. Earthy yet fruity. Great acidity. Very bright. Medium body, pretty big for a Pinot.

Bright on the first taste then breathes to a light and smooth Pinot on the back of the mouth.

Yes, it's a screw top Pinot, but one of best. Dark fruits(Santa Rita Hills) with a nice long finish. We found this winery a few years back on a wine trip with the Kennedys. Brian Loring was the original winemaker. Yum.
