Vermelho intenso, não parece ser muito encorpado pelo aspecto da lágrima. O aroma se destaca na madeira e álcool, mas apresenta um fundo com sensação de frutas vermelhas, como amoras. Na boca aparenta forte no álcool, sabor bem marcante, com leve rastro. Quase não se sente tatinos e a acidez se confunde com a presença forte do álcool.
